Sleeping can be hard at the best of times for most people. It can be even harder for that experience sleep problems daily. This blog will give you helpful tips on how to get a good night’s rest and why sleep is important to both the brain and the body.

Sleep is important because it not only helps you to feel refreshed and ready for the next day it also has a ton of amazing health benefits. Such as helping the body to repair itself and helps your brain to retain information you’ve learned throughout the day. Without enough sleep your mind and body won’t be able to function properly, and you’ll end up forgetting or missing your breakfast and that’s important to have.

So how do I mange sleep?

1. Sleep regularly at the same time every night and wake up at the same time. If you, do it enough times your body clock will learn to wake you up at the same time every day and you will eventually be able to say goodbye to your alarm clock.

2. Caffeine (we all are guilty of drinking it!) is in our coffees, cola, and energy drinks. No matter what you drink before bed make sure it’s not caffeine.

3. Eating too much food can also give you an uncomfortable night of rest and will interrupt your sleep.

4. Stay away from electronics. There’s a reason our phones and other technology kills boredom and stops us from sleeping. It’s because our phones are stimulating our brain instead of helping us to relax and unwind. Switch them off at least an hour before going to bed.

These are a few simple tips that will help you have sweet dreams and a much better night’s rest.

So, you don’t end up forgetting your homework or using your mum as the designated alarm clock.
